There are many ways to use your subconscious mind to attract what you want, but what about your physical appearance? If you’re not sure where to begin, I have listed 5 easy methods that involve your subconscious mind to get the glow up you desire (and deserve).

Method 1: Detaching
When we detach, we stop putting our desires on a pedestal and let go of our urgent need to have it. This should not be confused with giving up on your manifestation. If we let go of need, we let go of lack. It means that we won’t let our current appearance affect how we feel and think, leading to a state of acceptance: a state where you want to be in if you want to see results fast.
Constantly checking for results? Or still doubting the process? These common subconscious blocks will keep biting you in the back if you don’t learn to detach and move on from them. Method 2: The Compliments Method
The Compliments Method is a powerful way to subconsciously manifest your dream body. This method can be done with affirmations, scripting or visualisation techniques. While picturing your ideal appearance, it’s time to think of some nice compliments you would like to receive! Think of anything you would like to hear, but make sure it aligns with what you want. If you choose to do this method with affirmations, the affirmations could look like this:
You can of course customize the affirmations yourself as you see fit! It’s important the affirmations reflect exactly what you would like to hear. The same counts if you choose to script.
When you choose to visualize, imagine your loved ones, friends or crush complimenting you on how you look. Imagine the sound of their voices, the sounds of the environments you’re in, any smells that might be of significance. It’s important to keep your visualisation as realistic as possible: like it’s a memory of something that already happened.
Method 3: Enhance your self-concept
Self-concept is already a key factor in manifestation and subconscious reprogramming, but it’s even more important to consider if you actually want to feel satisfied with your appearance. If we don’t come from a place of self-love and complete alignment, we will keep having a hard time becoming that ideal version of what we desire to be.
If you’re struggling with negative self-image, and that is the only foundation for your wish to change your body or face, it’s time to start working on your self-concept.
Start working on your self-concept with small steps, like treating yourself with kind words or mindfulness exercises. It’s a very personal and also internal process, so remember to go easy on yourself. Method 4: The Mirror Method
The Mirror Method is a very powerful visualization method (and of my personal favorites!) Since this is a visualisation method, it isn’t recommended for those who struggle with creating mental images.
A clear mental picture of what you intend to achieve is necessary for this exercise. Make this visualisation of your desired body as detailed as possible.
Imagine seeing yourself through your own eyes in a mirror, admiring your body, seeing and sensing how much your body has changed. The mirror can be of your personal choice, but I do recommend a mirror you frequently see in your life — like a bathroom mirror. Repeat this mental exercise every night, just before going to sleep: this is when your subconscious mind is the most receptive to new suggestions, intentions or affirmations. This method is perfect to get into alignment with your ideal self.

Method 5: Creating a vision board
Vision boards are a perfect substitute for those who have a hard time visualising! Creating a vision board is an easy method to get clear on what your ideal appearance would look like. You could make a photo collage, add positive affirmations or express your intention in any other way you desire. While the process of creating a vision board is fun, that’s not where the real power lies.
Just like visualisation techniques, you’re going to use your vision board to impress your subconscious mind daily with this intention. Vision boards should be visible in a place where you can see them frequently, preferably multiple times a day. This could be in your bedroom, or it could even be your phone background! Using a vision board is a fun and powerful way to persist in your personal goals.
